Evidence Coverage

Definition

The share of a site's applicable readiness rules that a scan could actually measure; below the coverage floor a result reads Insufficient evidence instead of a number.

Context

A rule that could not be measured — a page that timed out, a probe that was refused — is neither a pass nor a fail, so it leaves the rating instead of counting against it. Coverage tells a reader how much of the rating rests on observation. Below the floor, Scovant shows no number at all rather than a number built on too little.
