Agent Discoverability
Definition
Whether AI crawlers, search systems, and agents can locate and interpret the relevant content and actions of a site.
Context
Discoverability sits upstream of readiness: an agent cannot complete a task on content or an action it never found. It covers both the crawl layer (robots directives, sitemaps, and structured data that tell a crawler what exists) and the interpretation layer (semantic markup and clear labeling that tell an agent what a given page or element actually does). A site that blocks or misconfigures its agent-facing signals is invisible to that whole class of traffic, regardless of how well the rest of the experience works.
