Compatibility check.
The compatibility score (0-100) measures how well your site supports AI agent navigation.
More than 30 checks across 7 categories (Discoverability, Structured Data, Consistency, Actionability, Trust, UCP, Citability) are evaluated on every scan. Each category starts at 100 and loses points for every issue found — the more severe the issue (critical down to info), the larger the deduction. The overall score is a weighted blend of the categories that apply to your site. We don't publish the exact point values or weights, so a score reflects real fixes rather than threshold-chasing.
Categories apply conditionally. UCP is scored only for commerce-like sites (commerce, booking, restaurant, SaaS); Citability only for content sites (blog, media, documentation, portfolio). Where a category doesn't apply it is excluded and the remaining categories take its place — a blog is never judged on UCP, and a shop is never judged on prose citability.
Agent-blocking cap. A site that actively blocks AI agents (blocked AI crawler or bot-protection walls) takes a significant overall reduction — it cannot be "agent ready" by definition while agents are locked out.
Commerce-tier sites (online stores, booking services, restaurants) also receive simulation-aware scoring: several AI agents attempt the purchase journey, and your readiness reflects how many of them complete it — when too few can, the overall score drops and the badge is withheld, while agents completing the purchase helps it.
Badges: agent_ready at an overall of 80 or above, agent_compatible at 60 or above, none below 60.
Your overall score and badge appear on your public showcase card and in the showcase API response (GET /api/public/showcase/{site_id}). For the full customer-facing explanation, see How scoring works.
